I have a deep dark confession to make….

I’m a panster and proud of it! LOL When I write the gleam of the story is in my minds eye. I know the premise, and I know where I’m going with it. The rest I leave up to a wonderful thing called serendipity. Sometimes, the characters will propel the book into another direction that will still see me end up at the same conclusion, but the journey they go on enriches the story giving it facets that make it shine.

Everyone has their own method of writing from the ones that painstakingly outline to the writers who literally write by the seat of their pants. As long as it works for you, go for it! And, while your writing, don’t forget to feel the magic, where you’re in your zone focused and ready to play with your world. Use your imagination to create another world and be the tour guide of that world for your readers.

I’m going to take a moment to remind everyone that we have a chat coming up this week on September 6 for authors with new releases. Authors, if you haven’t already signed up for the chat and you have a new release to plug please drop by the published authors forum and sign up! The chat will be a blast and I hope to see you there!

Welcome to my first post here on HEA Cafe! Let’s hope it posts with no technical difficulties. LOL
I’m here to talk about the Public Author Chats at RWA Online! As the chat faerie…okay, chat diva, I’m responsible for promoting the chats. But I can’t do it alone…since the chats are public I need all of our members to post the information to their blogs, lists, myspace, well, you get the idea.
On Thursday, September 6, starting at 9pm EST and ending at 10pm EST, we will be having our new releases chat. So far, the chat features the wonderful Terri Garey! But I’m sure Terri would love to share the spotlight with a few other authors…if you haven’t signed up and you have a new release, please do so ASAP!
