For example, if the original sentence read: I raised my gun and fired at the form rushing through the door. He'd change it to: Heart pounding, I raised my gun and fired at the form rushing through the door. Essentially, anytime a character DID something, he asked the author to have the reader FEEL it, too. Make sense? ~Linnea By adding what/how the character felt during the action. For example, if the original sentence read:
I raised my gun and fired at the form rushing through the door.

He’d change it to:

Heart pounding, I raised my gun and fired at the form rushing through the door.

Essentially, anytime a character DID something, he asked the author to have the reader FEEL it, too.
