Workshop Registration

If you are a paying workshop participant, please read the following:

The next step in your workshop registration process will take care of two important pieces of business.  You must create a login for our online discussion forums AND take care of paying your workshop fee.

1) Click on the link at the bottom of this page after you read the important message below.  You will be taken to our online discussion forums registration page. 

2) Create your login and password. 
     User names must be a full first and last name.  The name must be similar to the name on your workshop registration form.  We ask for full names for two purposes - one is administrative and the other is for professional courtesy between fellow writers.

    If you do not register using a full name, we will change it to conform with our policy.

3)  Pick the WORKSHOP REGISTRATION option under subscription packages. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you choose the CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP option instead of WORKSHOP REGISTRATION during the discussion board registration process, YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF RWA National.  We will require you to provide a RWA membership number before your membership can be completed.

Below is a picture of what the login should look like, up through selecting the correct subscription package.

4)  Complete the rest of the form and submit your registration.

3) Once you get the registration submitted page, you will be provided information you need to make your workshop payment via regular postal mail or PayPal. 

NOTE:  If you use a PayPal account that uses a name or email address OTHER than the one you submitted on your application form, please annotate the application name in the comments of your payment.  We must be able to match the payments to an application for your membership to be processing quickly and easily.   If you can't find a way to make a comment, please send a note to our treasurer so she knows who the payment is from.

4)  You may continue to log in and review the public portions of our discussion board until your payment is received.  We also have a pre-workshop forum you can stop by and say hello to your fellow workshop classmates, so make sure you come on by!

Approximately one week before the workshop, your log in will be activated. (If you use paypal, it's almost instant!)  You will receive an email from RWA^® Online Discussion Boards when your registration is validated.  At that time, you may visit our Discussion Forums.  A "Pre-Workshop Check In" forum will be available for practice and visiting.  Feel free to drop in and say "hello" to your fellow workshop members.

The Sunday or Monday of the week the workshop will start, the actual workshop forum will be made available to all chapter members and non-chapter member participants.
